Brand guidelines
The NOVAGP.IE identity
How our logo, spacing and colours are used across print, signage and every digital surface. Follow these and the brand stays consistent everywhere it appears.
The logo
The mark is a dimensional emerald shield carrying a cardiac trace — care and vital signs in one form. It sits left of the wordmark, optically centred to the cap height.
NOVAGP.iePrimary lockup — use this by default

Standalone shield — reversed on Ink
Clear-space
Keep an exclusion zone of X on all four sides, where X is the height of the shield mark. Nothing enters this zone — no text, no rules, no other logos, no photograph edges.
NOVAGP.ieDashed line = exclusion zone. On vehicle wraps and billboards, double it to 2X.
Minimum sizes
Below these sizes the cardiac trace in the shield closes up and the depth is lost. If you need to go smaller, use the shield alone.
| Context | Minimum | Typical use |
|---|---|---|
| Digital — full lockup | 140 px wide | Header, email signature, web footer. |
| Digital — shield only | 32 px | Favicon, app tile, avatar. |
| Print — full lockup | 35 mm wide | Letterhead, prescriptions, certificates. |
| Print — shield only | 10 mm | Compliment slips, pens, badges. |
| Large format | No maximum | Vehicle wraps, roll-ups and billboards use the 6000 px masters. |
Usage rules
Do
- Use the full lockup (mark + NOVAGP.ie wordmark) wherever space allows.
- Use the standalone shield only where the name already appears nearby, or in avatars and favicons.
- Place the logo on Mist, white, Ink, or a Deep Emerald field only.
- Scale proportionally from the corner handles, always.
- For print, use the transparent PNG masters at 300 dpi or the vector artwork supplied in the print pack.
Don't
- Do not recolour, flatten, or remove the depth of the mark.
- Do not stretch, skew, rotate, or add outlines, glows or drop shadows of your own.
- Do not place the logo on a busy photograph without a solid or 60% Ink scrim behind it.
- Do not typeset the wordmark in another font or change its letter-spacing.
- Do not box the logo, add taglines inside the clear-space, or lock it to other logos without a divider rule.

HEX and RGB for screen, CMYK and the nearest Pantone for print. Ask the printer to match the Pantone on any spot-colour job — emerald shifts badly in four-colour process.
