Repeat levothyroxine for stable, previously diagnosed hypothyroidism. Reviewed by an Irish-registered GP for €25, usually the same day.

What we'll ask you
12 short questions, most of them yes or no. Your answers go straight to the reviewing GP.
- When were you diagnosed with an underactive thyroid, and by whom?
- Your current levothyroxine dose and how you take it
- Is this a brand new levothyroxine start rather than a continuation?
- Date and result of your most recent thyroid blood test (TSH / T4), if known
- Is it more than 12 months since your last thyroid blood test?
- Any symptoms of being over- or under-treated (palpitations, tremor, weight change, fatigue, cold intolerance)?
- Any heart rhythm problems, atrial fibrillation or angina?
- How many months of supply are you asking for?
- Are you pregnant, breastfeeding or trying to conceive?
- Do you have any of: high fever, severe pain, breathlessness, confusion, or symptoms getting rapidly worse?
- List any drug allergies (or type 'none')
- Medicines you currently take (or type 'none')
When we'll say no
These answers stop the request and route you to a consultation instead.
- A new start needs bloods and a consultation, not a repeat request.
- Levothyroxine repeats need thyroid function checked at least yearly.
- Dose changes with cardiac disease need a consultation.
- Prescribing in pregnancy or while breastfeeding needs a consultation.
- These symptoms need to be assessed by a doctor directly.
