A video or phone consultation with an Irish-registered GP: your trip, your health and your vaccine history reviewed together, with prescriptions for travel vaccines and malaria tablets where they are clinically appropriate.

For well-defined travel needs — like motion-sickness prevention — a €25 Smart Script goes straight to an Irish GP for review, usually the same day. Travel vaccines and malaria tablets still start with the full assessment.

Travel vaccinations in Dublin, without the waiting room
The assessment happens online wherever you are in Ireland — Dublin, Cork, Galway or at the kitchen table. Your prescription then goes to any pharmacy you choose, so the doses are collected close to home. The one exception is Yellow Fever, which must be given at an approved face-to-face travel clinic.

- Travel Health Assessment: €50, paid to NOVAGP.IE for the doctor's consultation and prescription.
- The €50 fee covers only the assessment and prescription — not the cost of the actual vaccines.
- You pay your local pharmacy separately for the physical doses and their administration.
- During the consultation an Irish-registered doctor reviews your trip details and provides prescriptions or recommendations for travel vaccines and malaria tablets.
Important limitations
No Yellow Fever
NOVAGP.IE cannot prescribe or administer Yellow Fever vaccines for safety reasons. You must attend a face-to-face designated travel clinic for that specific vaccine and for the international certificate.
Fulfilment
You take the prescription provided by NOVAGP.IE to a local pharmacy or clinic to have the actual vaccines administered. We do not stock or give injections.
