Irish vaccine schedule

The HSE primary childhood immunisation schedule, given free of charge by your GP.

1. At birth (if recommended)

   BCG (selected infants only)

   Offered where there is an increased risk of tuberculosis, not routinely nationwide.

2. 2 months

   6-in-1 · PCV · MenB · Rotavirus (oral)

   6-in-1 covers diphtheria, tetanus, whooping cough, polio, Hib and hepatitis B.

3. 4 months

   6-in-1 · MenB · Rotavirus (oral)

   Second dose of the primary course. Rotavirus must be started before 15 weeks.

4. 6 months

   6-in-1 · PCV · MenC

   Completes the primary 6-in-1 course.

5. 12 months

   MMR · MenB

   First measles, mumps and rubella dose.

6. 13 months

   Hib/MenC · PCV

   Boosters that finish the infant schedule.
